Indicators: Chemical
Chemical indicators test the effectiveness of the sterilization process of steam autoclaves and gas sterilizers. Chemical indicators are found on medical packaging and tape, which change color once the correct conditions have been met. This color change indicates that the object inside the package, or under the tape, has been sterilized.
